Air conditioner doesn't work at idle

So my a/c only blows cold when the car is accelerating... at idle it's just warm air. (2010 Honda Fit Manual Transmission)
Has this happened to anyone else?
The only thing I've checked is the fans, and can confirm they're working properly
Any input is appreciated.

Only thing I can think of is a bad condenser fan/switch or temp sensor.

The same thing happens to mine, condenser fans work just fine. It doesnt seem to be a heat soak issue or a freon level issue. I dont recommend you do this for other than testing purposes but next time it idles try raising the idle by pressing the gas peda a few hundred revolutions and see if it starts cooling

Just tried it, the cooling is directly correlated to the rpms. It got colder at idle when i pressed the gas.
I had the freon level checked too, and its at a proper level.
Do you have any idea whats going on with yours?

The AC is pretty weak at idle, but it's by no means "warm", it is always cooler than ambient for me and I'm in Vegas where the temps get to 90°F+ regularly.

A few things to check just to improve cooling efficiency:

Make sure cabin air filter is clean.

Make sure there aren't any leaves or blockage on the cowl intake for the AC/vent.

Get your windows tinted. The Fit's AC performance in all 3 generations is just barely adequate when compared to other cars in its class.

Yes. Warm at idle, blew cold when revved. Checked the relays and fans myself and then took it in to the dealer. Half the Freon was missing. They never found a leak. Pressure tested it and recharged it and it’s been good for a year so far.

So only working when revved can be a sign of low Freon. Check your AC lines under the hood and see if they are frosted over. That’s another sign.

Out of curiosity how was the level checked? Did they drain the system, weigh it, and refill it? The pressure based methods of checking are inaccurate for the fit, based on other conversations on this forum. I’m no an ac specialist though so just repeating what was posted here.
