Unhappy No cruise control after radio replacement

Hi everyone,

I just installed an aftermarket radio in my 2010 base model fit, everything is well except the cruise control no longer works. I swapped the factory radio back in and the cruise works like normal. Anyone else ran into this issue?

Cruise control fix

Hey,

Tie these two blue wires in your radio harness to fix the issue. This works for aftermarket cruise control too, one of the wires is the VSS signal, the other completes the circuit.

What kind of car loses it's cruise control after replacing the radio.. contemplating selling the Fit.. after seeing another thread of the "aftermarket" looking factory wire taps.

Mine did not lose cruise when installing my Sony headunit, but that might have been taken care of with the pre-made wiring harness from Crutchfield?

I'm considering replacing my ancient, DVD-based, navigation system. The Crutchfield wiring harness seems like it makes the job a whole lot easier!
