Should I replace my headlight plug? Photos included.
Hello,
This is the state of my headlight plug. It’s intermittent. I kinda have to take the headlight off and replug it just for good connection.
I think it’s evident the issue is in the plug right?
If a wrecking yard or a Honda dealer can provide a replacement electrical socket, I'd replace it. Either way, you need to buy some dialectric grease from an auto parts store and coat the terminals before you plug it into the headlight again. If you're going to use your existing plug, or another used one, you first need to use a small wire brush to clean the electrical contacts before you apply the grease.
You don't show a factory rubber boot in your pics. Do you have one that slides over the plug to protect it after installation?

I do have the rubber. I just took it off to check if was the bulb that was misbehaving. I’ll go with the second option. Restoring my plugs. Thanks a lot.
