Swapping 1gen struts on to a 2gen when lowering

Hello i just wanted to share that i swapped 1gen strut on to my 2gen because i wanted shorter struts in the back to remove the slack from my lowering springs.
I bought lowering springs but didnt get the low i wanted, so i wanted to cut them but that would leave the spring suuuper loose as you can see in one of the pictures.
So i searched around for some adjustable struts with no luck. then i looked at 1gen struts and to my suprise they were 100mm shorter!
i bought them and when they arrived i cut my springs to the low i wanted, and when u put them in they had around 90mm slack so the 100mm shorter struts were perfect!
also made some new rubber mats for the springs to sit on as they are wider in diameter at the bottom after the chop
also yes i know the springs are upside down but that just worked out better
