Assitive add on aftermarket sensors

I've recently had a major (7 level) cervical spinal fusion and have very limited lateral movement especially to the right making use of the passenger side mirror on my 2012 Fit Sport useless. Before I give up and buy a new vehicle with blind spot monitors and lane warnings I want to know if anyone has had luck with the many aftermarket kits that are available.

My choices are find a working solution or give up the Fit for a new car. My wife cannot drive due to vision loss and so I was the only driver in the house. But right now I cannot drive safely. I'd like to have cameras to assist the outside rear view mirrors with a display that mounts on or above the dash with always on as an option. I want to have the sensors as well, be they laser or radar. I'd like to know the best places to mount the sensors. Thanks.

2014 is a different body style than the 2012. The mirrors are different, too. But something like that is what I am looking for. What I wanted was reviews from anyone who has already installed the aftermarket sensors.
