AC not working
AC not working
Hey guys
I have a 2010 Honda fit base
I bought it 2 years ago and the AC stopped working after 2 months.
In August 2021 the AC compressor died completely, so I changed it
The AC isn't working still but I ran a wire from my relay box to my battery and then it was working
I don't want to be using this method because of the obvious dangerousness of this
Does anyone had or has this issue and figured it out ???

So when you bypass the relay the AC works.. it seems like it would be an electrical issue. Have you tried replacing the relay to test if that fixes the issue? From your statements it appears the the AC system "works" rather it is a power delivery issue or a wire or connection is faulty.
It could be another bad relay or the relay is not getting power at all meaning the original relay could be fine.. and it is not getting power. That is something you will need to determine by doing some testing.
