Help with retaining factory reverse camera, please

Hey team, first time poster, long time searcher of answers 😀
We have the 2nd gen 2013 hybrid fit. It is fantastic, however, being a Japanese import (I'm in NZ) and it had a 10in touchscreen flip out infotainment unit that was basically useless to us. I've since pulled it out and installed a Bluetooth/wifi android touchscreen unit. It works great, I haven't figured out the pre installed maps for the GPS yet, but that's probably something I can Google.
The problem i have is that we really want the reverse cam back. I can't find a harness adapter for the factory unit that will fit the 8 odd wires split over two connectors to just plug and play. Should I just buy a new camera, whip out the old one, and install though the AV plugs like any normal reverse cam, or is there a solution I've missed that would enable me to keep the factory one. Any suggestions are most welcome. Thanks 😊
EDIT I know there's a similar thread but I have different plugs and I'm not quite as tech savvy as that poster.

I had the same problem earlier this year. I had Sony unit installed, by an Auto Electrician. My Reversing camera works well. ESPECIALLY with newly installed LED lights. IF you are in Rotorua I can recommend to you.
