Unknown radio issue

So i just replaced the speakers in my gf's 2013 fit, but the radio cut out after about 25 to 30 minutes of use. After doing some research i seen where a code was needed to reset the radio so i found the code corresponding to her car. My current problem is even after entering the code it still has the same issue, along with the anti theft light not flashing anymore. Have i missed something? I didnt need to cut into any wires or mess with the radio beside the code yet it still has issues. Any advice would be appreciated.

On my 09 once the radio losses power you have to enter the code as soon as you turn it on. There is no cut off after 25 minutes. It just doesn't work until you enter the code. So given that and the anti theft light not working makes me think you got a burned out fuse. I don't remember what one that makes it blink, but I pulled mine myself when I was trying to track down phantom power draw.

Agreed with above. Based on the timing delay of the problem it sounds like something got hot and you popped a fuse.
I don't know much about speakers/stereo systems, but were the speakers you installed similar in terms of specifications to the OEM speakers?

I purchased my speakers from crutchfields website, total of four 6 1/2 in rockfords. They came with a plug and play connecter set that plugs into the oem speaker female end plugs. Would that fuse be located on the back of the radio or in the fuse boxs in the dash?

It is the fuse box under the dash. If the one on the back of the radio popped the radio wouldn't work at all.

edit: I think keylock / radio 7.5amp

It might be an impedance issue. Check that the new speakers have the same ohm value as the old ones.
