ECU Error diagnostic

I have a Honda Fit 2010 1.5 and when I launch diagnostic scan to see why the Check Engine light is ON, the diagnostic Failed to Recognize my Car It Give another Honda FIT 2009 with Different Number VIN with A multiple Error Code Numbers. Are these Codes relative to my 2010 Car or it detect the problem of the 2009 honda. is this because the Control Engine Unit was Replaced with an Older Honda Fit 2009 and they didn't Synchronize it. and by the way I have Cruise Control that does not work. I don't know What I should do to fix that. Does anyone experience the same issues?
