Code P0970 on a 2009 Fit Sport AT - Possible PCM?
My Fit has been acting up on me in these chilly SF mornings lately. I start it and it goes into limp mode (check engine light + flashing D). I let it warm up, turn it off and back on again and the flashing D goes away...later in the day the check engine light eventually goes away too. I let it fly the first couple times, but it's been every morning lately so I took it into a shop.
They are having a hard time diagnosing it. They checked the solenoid and it checked out fine. They think it might be the PCM.
Has anyone experienced anything similar and come to a solution?
Thanks

I experienced a check engine, flashing D and limp mode. Mine was a 3rd gear pressure switch failure: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ch-failed.html
Not sure if it's same problem you're having.

Just curious why they think its a pcm.
We usually condemn a pcm only after we exhaust all other possibilities related to a failure code and have and found no problems with all of the powers and grounds that go to the pcm in question.
Sounds aloat like they are takingthe lets replace this part and see what happens approach. Ask them what tests they have done that indicate a possible pcm problem.
