noob here...me and my wife just purchased a 2009 fit sport, nice little ride!!! well not even a week later and just 300 miles, the check engine light came on when it did i put it into drive then i heard a loud thump sound when the tranny engage and accelerated very slowly. then this morning, it happened again exactly the same way. the only way i can get back to normal is to shut her off, wait a minute, then start her back up.

anyone have any ideas what this code is? i've tried search will no luck. any assistance is helpful at this time until i can get it back to the dealer. it might be in limp mode by then.

That sounds exactly like what happened when the transmission in my 97 prelude died. It was already bunk when I bought that car and a month later it started doing that exact thing.
