After Valve/Plug service run rough - idle

Hi Guys

My 2013 was in at the local Honda dealer to have new front windshield and at the same time sparkplug an valve adjustment service.

However after the replaced the windshield im having problems with condensation - ok I have talked to them about that so we will see if it continuos.

BUT - After service valves where a lot louder - I thought it could be because they where to tight before the service ( 85000 miles ) ..

Then i noticed that the car felt a little rough at times - hard to describe but just did not feel as smooth as before, also starting sounded i bit different i thought - and when cold idle and with aircon on the idle is very rough
I know it always did go a bit up and down as the aircon turned on/off ....but it is much worse and i think i feel it when driving to a very subtle stutter ....

Then yesterday it had a misfire just died a second under acceleration ...

Im really somehow disappointed and feel like the car should never had been into the Honda shop ...

But i really think you should be able to have confidence in them ...

Any one have any ideas what could be wrong - or could they have forgotten something / done something wrong ???

Definitely take it back. I imagine some new tech over promised, under delivered, and no one bothered to double check their work.

Your valves could be in spec and still loud. Mine are. However, you can ask them to adjust the valves to the tight end of the spec to make them quieter.

"Running rough" does not sound right. Your engine should not run rough. In fact, looser valves can make these engines perform better.

If you go back to the dealer, start with the complaint that the engine is running rough.

Good luck.
