How remove connector on oil pressure sensor switch?

How do I remove the connector on the oil pressure switch on a 2009 base model Fit?
I have tried gently pushing and pulling the tab (marked with blue arrow in my photo), and tried prying with a pointed pick, but it doesn't budge.
The factory service manual offers no help, and I don't want to break it.
Thanks for any ideas. Does this tab release the connector?
Does this tab release the connector?

@Joe B I have this problem with the Fit's electrical connectors all the time. I finally got fed up and bought a Push Pin Pliers.

So, the answer to your question is that I think it's a push-to-release kind of connector. You're actually pinching because it has to be released on both sides.

If I'm wrong, and you're supposed to pull that little tab out to release the connector, then I don't know how in the heck anyone is supposed to do that.

@Mister Coffee Thanks, you were correct: the tab on the connector must be pushed in to release it...

Also, I think my connector was clogged with 275k miles of road gunk, so I sprayed it with PB Blaster, let it sit for 3 hours, then it came off easily with relatively gentle finger-squeezing pressure. I'm not sure what that will to to electrical connectivity long-term, but time will tell.

@Joe B Nicely done, Joe. I don't know much about PB Blaster. With electrical connectors, I'd be cautious about the "electrical" part and the fact that it is made of plastic. An aggressive cleaner might be contraindicated. But maybe your method will work out fine.

Connector

I would clean everything with brake cleaner and q-tips. Best of luck, Clay

Brake cleaner or contact cleaner, or are they the same? Just wondering. Maybe they don't even make anything called "contact cleaner" anymore.
