Rattling noise, replaced everything that touches the serpentine belt
Hi everyone, I have been trying to fiix this awful noise that I hear whenever Im between 1.5 and 2k rpms. I was positive it was from something to do with the belt drive, but I have now replaced the AC clutch, alternator, water pump, and belt tensioner. The noise is still there 🥲
What else could be the culprit??
I'm attaching a video from before I replaced everything, but the noise is still the same.

That's a tough one. it's that high-speed ringing-like drone I'm hearing, yeah? Kind of like a sped up dial tone in a phone call?
The serpentine belt is a reasonable culprit -- there's some little bearings spinning pretty fast. The best thing I could advise for this is to pick up some 1/8" or so vacuum hose, 2-3' worth, and stick one end in your ear, using the other in hand to help isolate the sound source.
One of the common rattles this car has presented for others is that of the exhaust heat shield. If I'm picking out the right noise, I could see its potentially being caused by a washer or what have you vibrating against some thin, rigid metal.
But that old ear-hose trick, as silly as it seems, has served me well for many a diagnosis.

Thanks for the response! I did a valve adjustment, torqued my spark plugs, nothing.
Then I checked the heat shields!!! Loose bolt! Problem solved 🥲 at least all of my components are refreshed
Insane the amount of work I did for such a simple fix
