Hi all! First post, longtime Honda owner. Ive been on the Piloteers forum for ten years, its a treasure-trove of info. Hoping some Fit owners here can help out. My mom's 2009 Fit has a rattling/clicking sound in the headliner. right behind the driver visor. I don't know if that's the case, bit its the only thing noticeable. Maybe unrelated. Either way something is loose in the headliner, whether a loose part or something that got in there from the windshield seal. Here's a video of the noise and a photo of the upper left windshield where the seal has deteriorated. Any thoughts on what this sound is? Thanks in advance for any help troubleshooting. She almost paid a shop to remove the dashboard and diagnose because a mechanic at a Tires Plus told her it was the odometer. I swear you can't find good help these days....

 

Not sure if it is the same sound, but the plastic cover on the vanity mirror on the driver's side visor rattles on mine mostly when the visor is lowered. Worth a check if you haven't already.

Anyone else have ideas on what this could be? I think something got in the windshield and is rattling around. But it could be a lose part in there...
