New Battery
New Battery
I recently bought a NAPA Auto battery. It's worth remembering that new batteries need to be fully charged before you install them. Undoubtedly, the old hands on this forum already know this, but there may be some people who are unaware and assume that the retailer charges them before selling them. I cannot speak for the service stations that will install a battery for you, or the AAA club, which, I think, offers replacement batteries for sale.
This NAPA battery needed 18 hours of charging time on a motorcycle trickle charger to come to a full charge, and, according to the charger, it was not even 80% charged as sold.
Hope that helps.
