Question about the iPod link

Question about the iPod link

Does it hook directly in the dash or does it connect in the glovebox? I can not tell from the pictures and I forgot to ask the dealer when I orderded today.

Pictures I've seen show it on the right side of the glove box.

So it actually has to sit inside the glove box?

Yes, that's where most manufacturers have it.

Hmmm that could be tricky because my iPod is my iPhone. O Well I'll figure it out. Thanks for the info! http://photos.ebizautos.com/7167/3320327_17.jpg <------ Is that it in the right corner of the glovebox?

Yeah that should be it. I suppose you could always get a USB extension cord and kinda run it out of the glove box and have it sit on the passenger seat if you wanted.

This is what I plan on doing. The stock iPod charge cables are just a little too short to do this, so I might try to look for a 3rd party one that's longer so it can just extend to the middle cupholders.
