Question Ipod in upper glove box

I took delivery of a 2012 Polished Metal Metallic Fit today.

I plugged in my iPod to an adapter USB connecting cable and now am able to play my songs in sequential order.

It would be so much more enjoyable to be able to to play my playlists.

I took an old t-shirt and stuffed it in the upper glove box over the iPod to prevent the iPod from sliding around.

Is there a better approach to preventing the iPod from sliding around in the upper glove box?

Thanks

My iPod is in an iPod sock and I have a short (3") usb to iPod dock cable. I don't hear it moving.

I'd use one of those leather squares that they used to promote to keep your cell from sliding on your dash. I used to have one and th actually do work. They were called "dash pad" or something.

Weird, I've never had issues with my ipod sliding around and I just use a hard plastic case around mine too.

The material in my upper glove box is a textured rubbery material. Its not sticky, but certainly slide resistant. I haven't had a problem.

Same here. Maybe driving on rough dirt roads it might slide, but mine never slides on paved roads.

Yeah I have the same rubber mat inside there. It's actually removable too!

Use a memory stick and velcro the whole thing to the top of the compartment out of the way! Their's a pic of this somewhere on Fit Freak.

Thanks

The setting on the Honda radio is to sequential and not random?

I know a Honda has a problem with seq. order on a USB drive, but not iPods.

Do what I did. Buy a silicone case for the music player, for me it's my emergency phone that stays in the car. Use the 3M Dual Lock tape to secure it to the side or roof in the inside of the upper dashboard. Here's a cool review of the 3M Dual Lock: All about 3M Dual Lock

Dirt roads and an auto x once a month and that baby will slide.
