Color codes for 2009 Fit?

I've been searching all over, trying to find out which colors of blue are coming to Canada. I can now confirm the following:

B548P - Deep Sapphire Blue Pearl
B549M - ???? (dealer confirms the pictures below match this color, whatever might be it's name). Did a google search and it comes up as "Sherbet Blue Metallic"

Odd that the US gets Blue Sensation and Tidewater Blue, Canada gets Deep Sapphire Blue Pearl and whatever code B-549M is called....

Oh well. Dealer told me names may vary but the color code refers to just 1 possible color. I sent this along to my local dealer since I can now definitely pin down the color I want, whatever it's called!

Congrats!

I am still waiting for Honda Canada to release their list of colors for the diff. trims. May have to get a Sport to get orange or purple but may still go with a LX and get aftermarket 16" wheels, alarm, tint and visors. The cost will be roughly the same but not the color i want. Decisions, decisions.

Don't quote me, but information I have is that the colors are exactly the same as what is offered in the US for the 2009. So:

-BLUE SENSATION
-TIDEWATER BLUE METALLIC
-ORANGE REVOLUTION
-BLACKBERRY PEARL
-MILANO RED
-STORM SILVER METALLIC
-TAFFETA WHITE
-CRYSTAL BLACK PEARL

The only changes from 2008 for Canada are the shades of blue, orange, and black . I would bet that the US "Blue Sensation" is exactly the same as our "Sapphire Blue Pearl". Also, I'm sure that the "unknown" color code I listed refers to "Tidewater Blue Metallic".

Sorry, I meant that APPARENTLY Canada IS getting all the same colors as the US is getting on the 2009. So yes, we will have the Orange Revolution, according to my source....

Certain colors will only come in Sports trim, correct? Like the orange?

Yes. Only our Sport model will have the color option of Orange Revolution. DX comes only in 4 colors: Sapphire Blue Pearl, Storm Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, and Milano Red. LX adds Taffeta White, Blackberry Pearl, and what I assume is Tidewater Blue so we get 7 color options for the LX.

Hmm...$1900 extra for the Sport or get an LX instead? I hear the Blackberry is a great, unique color. Cross over to the LXers my brother, come over to our side....

Yup. I can use that money towards bigger wheels, tint and security alarm. Do you know if the Sport will have the Paddle Shifters? You know a lot more than all the salesmen i talked to put together.

+1 rep (need to find out how to do this)

Exactly my thinking. Besides, many of the Sport "extras" come as accessories (eg. security alarm, 16" alloys) if you REALLY want these things.

Most of my info came from here:
CNW Group | HONDA CANADA INC. | All-new 2009 Honda Fit offers Canadians fuel efficiency, safety and fun-to-drive performance
The Honda Portal: More Information on the 2009 Honda FIT for CANADA (emailed the dealer who is very forthcoming with details)

The paddle shifters I don't know about but I would ASSUME since the above 2 sources don't mention this feature, that it is not offered in Canada anymore. Again, that's just my best guess....

Good luck making your decision!

I've confirmed with a salesperson at Carter Honda in Vancouver who test-drove the 09 Sport this week - it DOES NOT have paddle shifters.

Thanks for the links. Very helpful.

I now know what i want but i am sure not to get one lol. All i really want is an orange DX with armrest and keyless entry. I prefer aftermarket wheels and alarm. Such is life.
