Great news! I have confirmation from two different Honda dealerships that the Canada release date is now moved up from Monday September 15th to some time NEXT WEEK! Holy cow! My local dealer will contact me with more details early in the week....


Ok so I thought that the Americans being so hyped up about their car's arrival dates was kind of funny. Now I can relate! Hang in there my cousins!

My order is for: 2009 Honda Fit LX, AT, Tidewater Blue don't....think....I....can....make....it.....hurry up Honda, hurry up!

Now only if i can get my hands on more info for Canada so i can make up my mind. If orange comes in LX then no Sport for me. Might have to visit a few dealerships after dinner.

 

Orange ONLY on the Sport model. I opted for an LX since the Sport (in Canada) doesn't have anything I can't live without: 6-speaker audio system with 5-mode equalizer, USB audio interface compatible with current generation iPods(R) and numerous USB storage devices, leather-wrapped steering wheel, security system, fog lights, 16" alloy wheels, chrome exhaust finisher and underbody aero kit. Note that the Sport is $1900 more than the LX. You have to weigh if those extras are worth that much to you.

Note that the LX in the 2009 adds to the DX standard features: standard air conditioning, power door locks, keyless remote entry, heated mirrors, rear roofline spoiler, driver side armrest and cruise control.

Sport MT: MSRP=$19280

All i really want are the power locks and keyless remote entry. Wonder what that would cost aftermarket.
