its cool that all you guys are doing this stuff but wouldnt it just be cheaper to import the car and change its VIN? i mean seriously its not the most expensive car in the world, mine was only about 1600000jpy with the mugen stuff and no reason to pay for the rs version as far as i can see because if you buy the baseline model and swap motors it costs almost the same in the end with all the modding i am going to do its going to be more but i dont plan on using anything as far as the fits tranny or susp. so..... i dont know about where anyone is though so maybe its more difficult in other countries, all i have to do is go to the shop down the street or superautobacs

Is a non-USDM Fit street-legal in the US? I was thinking of importing a Fit Hybrid if I get deployed to Germany

The term "street legal" really equates to how you are registering the car. With the restrictions imposed by the DOT for compliance, you'd be spending ridiculous amounts of money to make the vehcile "street legal" in the US. You're better off just buying one here and converting the to the JDM parts.

Are the part numbers on the first page for the rear brake conversion the same as the part numbers for the UK Honda Jazz?

You can order the F & R bumpers direct from honda Thailand or contact dnmind@gmail.com

I think about 7,000 Thai Baht for both = $235 US (NOT PAINTED) plus front grill, spot lights, new bolts and shipping etc.

I don't think there will be much change left from $1000 US when finished unless you are good at DIY.

Not without a JDM conversion of some of the support structure.
