I'm still thinking it looks pretty close to BOM.

I'm not really a fan of the new style either, but I am sure it will eventually grow on me. In a way I am kinda glad they redesigned it, for the US at least there are only 2 years of the first gen on the road, before you know it the 2nd gen will far outnumber the original.

Yeah, I know, that's why I panicked when I couldn't find any remaining '08s! I knew that if I didn't get an '08, I'd have to find some other car. I just can't get used to the new look. I think it's a completely different car, one I don't like at all. If I'd never seen this car before, and never seen the prev. gen., I would NOT like it. Great paint colors or not.

If you just hate the orange color or the new model - respond to this thread there . Those interested will certainly be checking that thread also

Hope nobody is offended - sam -- also hid quoted post.

I'm diggin' the gunmetal (at least that's what I think the finish is) rims against the orange backdrop.

Thanks. I've done better, but it gets the idea across.

They are Volk TE37s. Look great, but wont fit on the car. They are actually a lighter color, but I darkened em up to make it look sexy.

OMG fell in love all over again

So I just brought my 07 VBP AT Sport to the dealer for service work in the morning. Dark and dealer is closed.
There is was ....the Brilliant Orange Fit under the bright lights (different name in Canada??)
What a beauty!!! Sporty and classy at the same time!

First...from the pics...I was an 09 hater....seeing it in person has REALLY changed my mind. I LIKE IT!

I had a hard time between the BOM and VBP when I bought my 07 in June 07 but didn't like the "dullness" or lack of lustre of of the BOM. So Fiji Blue or in US VBP - it was and I do love it.
This new "Brilliant Orange" (at least under the lights) has so much more appeal. Will have a better look in the morning. It was a Sport...hmm just my type....maybe a trade???? Price was 20,580 with all in but taxes. I think I paid $25K all in. Then added clear bra on front and sides, tint, mugen visors, arm rest and custom cover in back. Hmmmm. Perhaps.
p.s. They call the black - Crystal Black. Will look further into colours for Canada v.s. US. Are there different options or just different names?

Pretty sure it is just different names. The paint colors seem the same in North America - Japan has some colors we don't have, but their BBP looks the same. There's a poster here who has a purple Fit called "Black Amethyst" and that looks like a different color, but he's from Norway, I think.

Good luck on your decision to trade in!
