When I bought my '08 Gilroy Honda was the only dealer willing to sell for MSRP. Every other dealer in the Bay Area wanted 2 grand over MSRP.

I did not like the pushy sales tactics used by Capitol Honda. When I told them I wasn't going to pay a dime over MSRP they wouldn't let me leave.
The sales manager kept trying to talk me into over paying.

The sales person in Gilroy was easy to deal with and I was very pleased with my experience at Gilroy Honda.

 

That shows you how things can change over time. Gilroy Honda was one of the 18 dealerships that I talked to over the Labor Day weekend of '06 trying to buy my Fit. Gilroy wouldn't budge from the $2000. mark up. Maybe losing sales over a year's time made them see that a change of attitude would result in an increase of sales.

 

The guys at avery green in vallejo say they always sell MSRP...

 

I just picked up my Sport TW AT from Thomas Ho at Hopkins Honda in Sunnyvale for a super deal.

I read the Yelp reviews and listened to what everyone else was saying. He's a no b.s. kind of guy and takes care of you.
