Does the AC outlet cut off power when engine turned off

To 09 owners: will the AC outlet automatically cut off the power to attached portable electronics if you turn off the car engine?

Thanks in advance!

There is an AC outlet? Where is it? I was only aware of the 12V DC outlet.

haha... when i saw ac i was thinking

but anywho...the battery is so small, it wouldn't be a good idea to have constant power when the engine is off...

constant power would be nice though.

No it doesn't according to the above posts. That's a good thing though. Prevents battery drain. Also if you have a Garmin or portable GPS, it will automatically turn it off when the power is cut off.
