spare tire?

spare tire?

just wondering if the Fit comes with a spare tire

Yes. New 09's come with a driver's side armrest too (at least the one I sat in today).

i just read this on another site, " In an unusual move, fuel economy for the automatic in town is 0.1 L/100 km better than the manual gearbox. Honda pulled this off by eliminating the weight of the spare tire and putting an air compressor and a can of updated sealing material that is easily removed from the inside of the tire when a permanent repair is made. "

Then I guess Canada sucks, because their ATs do *not* have a spare tire.

Er, yes. Mine will, too. The point is, we didn't buy the Canadian model.

yup my 09' came with a spare also, including the driver arm rest.

If you choose a manual trans then you get a spare.

I still don't understand why a spare isn't included for a country with so much wilderness.

I guess they will sell plenty of spares to people who want them. Don't forget to buy a jack!

i think the reason why mt do and auto don't is
cause of a weight issue.
