And the mud/splash guards are included with the 1.3 S? I had to pay extra for mine.
hi, sorry for the late reply. yes, it has rear disk brakes. i have the blue/black interior, but the dealer included the white cloth seat covers in the package. i'll be posting some pics of the interior.

regarding the fuel lid, yes, it does lock once your doors are locked too. The mudguards are standard equipment for the 1.3 S, since the 1.5 V has the side skirts, just like the Fit Sport.

prime honda in boston offered me

$17,580 + 6.25% tax + $295 documentation fee + RMV fee for the reg/plates. The latter is $125 for the new plates or $100 for transfer

I assume the 17.6K includes dest? If so, that's not too bad. Your below msrp so that a good start. I would definitely think you could shave a little off if your good with words though. I know edmunds isn't perfect but it also says you could take a little off as well according to the TMV. Was this a online quote?

I personally do not think that is a good deal, i think you can go lower if u shop around at other Honda dealerships.

I purchased mine for $16,879 (includes destination)+8.75%NY tax+documentation fees, the whole thing came out to $18,5xx and no other BS fees were included. And it is the same model as yours 2009 Fit S 5AT.

I'd say shop around and see what others dealers have to say. GL!

I bought our Fit on September 19, 2009...4 days after my 32nd birthday, about 4 weeks before my fiance and I get married and 3 months after he and I bought our house!! I love my little car, love how it feels, love how it looks and I don't regret buying it a single bit!!!

My fiance cannot wait to trick it out!!!

Hahaha...must pay for the wedding first!!!

Hello! First post.

I just bought a Storm Silver Metallic AT w/navi to replace my daily driver motorcycle, which I just wrecked. I also have a supercharged Mustang, which I am now thinking of selling because I really don't need it anymore. In fact, after driving the Fit around for a few weeks I feel guilt driving a car that gets 12 mpgs! Its an oddly liberating feeling going to a car that is so economical yet fun to drive. I love it!

09 TW Sport with auto/navi, purchased one week ago. Scoured autotrader.com for days trying to find one with the exact color and options, and didn't have the patience to wait for the 2010s. Luckily my Fit was only a few hours away in Hillsboro, Oregon. Now I know what all the fuss is about. Couldn't be any happier!

Just bought a 09 Fit Sport A/T on 9/26. Actually one of the last ones I could find in a 100 mile radius (Cash for Clunkers apparently drained the inventory). Milano Red and my wife has taken to calling it "Cherry".

2009 Fit Sport Auto w/Navi, I got a quote of

$21928.18 (ALL fees included, tax, title, new plates, etc)

seems high, but it includes accessories (which I think I'm going to take off). they are:

Mud Guards (which I found out later are NOT usable with Sport)
Door Visor*
Door Film*
Bumper Applique*
Cargo Tray*
Cargo Cover
All-season Mats*

As you can see, there's seven items totalling 943 from this dealer. The ones with *, I might just buy and do on my own, while the remaining two, I don't think I'll be getting at all. Well, the cargo cover is really a toss up, but I'm leaning to no.

I don't know the exact tax rate here... but I'm assuming 8%... so if I remove the accessories and their tax (city is higher, but I'm in the burbs), it comes to 20,909.74

So, what do you think, 20,9 for an '09 Fit 5SSAT w/Navi?

I am thinking of going back with a 20 counter offer. edit: I mean to offer 20k to "negotiate" up a little, since based on my calculations, the invoice+tax is already 20,5... but i'm assuming the dealer has other incentives they got from the manufacture (ie hold back).

hum, wonder if i can get him to throw in the armrest

Even without all that stuff, 20.9k seems high to me.

Then all of that extra stuff, you can get cheaper yourself from auto sites. So I wouldn't recommend any accessories at all unless it requires a install that you are uncomfortable with.

9/30 - TWB 5MT $16,600 + TTL

Not the best price in the world, but the best price I could get in my area.

oddly enough... I had completely forgotten about a quote I got...

20,648 from a nearby dealer with NO accessories... it was an internet price. The ironic thing is... the other day, I was at that dealer trying to buy an Insight (again, w/navi)... and they, AFTER knowing that I had two quotes from other dealers... I even told them what the quotes were, they came back with a quote for 26,937... $650 HIGHER than another quote I got, without any haggling. What makes it worse is the fact I was supposed to get a good deal since I was referred to the dealership by the OWNER'S BROTHER.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting the accessories from College Hills Honda (unless I find something else cheaper by then). The two accessories that really scare me, which I didn't list... bluetooth and the armrest... cutting and drilling?!? Speaking of that, interior illumination requires cutting and drilling too? dang. How about remote starter? Living in Chicago ain't pretty in the winter.

According to Edmunds and "Truecar.com" (a reference I saw in another thread)... the average price paid is about 19,2 abd 19,4 respectfully. Tacking on just tax for now... comes to 20,8 and 20,9 (20,969.28).

Looking at Truecar, there's been a spike in price (guessing since the end of C4C) in Sept. With the best prices gotten in July.

In any case, I'm shooting for 20k - 20.5k.
