That picture is disturbing. My family's all from the south and I refuse to go back because of the bugs. I don't remember them being that bad however I was just talking mosquitoes. No going south! Case closed!

We don't have the "love bugs" here but we do have these little green guys that just loved the MR Fit especially after I wash it. They normally show up in early spring and then after a few months they go away. That truck is awful - ick!

actually the love bugs don't have acid, what eats the paint is the bacteria eating the bug. The day I test drove the car I went home , made and installed a screen in front of the radiator before I went back to purchase the car.
Keep the front waxed, and let a water soaked beach towel loosen them up. or don't drive between 10am and 6pm. There finally gone as of today.
