First pics of Orange Revolution by owner in Canada!
I'm sure your car will have that temp indicator. As soon as you start your car look for a nice blue temp icon on your tach.
I read over my Owner's Manual (again) and you're right that there is a temp indication for too hot or too cold. So, although I don't have an actual temp gauge, I will know when my engine is warmed up to "normal operating temp".
I like that fake carbon fiber. Number 1, it's different, no. 2 it looks like an upgrade and it's sporty. My 03 Accord Coupe 6MT had that trim exclusively standard. I would say, yeah, go ahead and get the vent carbon fiber trim as well so it will all match.
Ditto. I was just surprised to see it when I was expecting the much lighter brushed chrome look. Now of course I'm debating on whether to get the meter panel trim or the side outlet trim! Definitely getting the door edge film removed since they did a truly crappy job of installation. I'll try to get my dealer to substitute either the meter panel or side outlet trim instead (same price point).
Regarding the clips for your mats, if you're handy with an exacto knife, you can do it yourself real quickly. Just make sure your measurements are pretty accurate. Did they include those clips? They should come with the mats.
Surely you jest? Can't imagine cutting into the carpet of my 4 day old brand new car. No, I don't have the nerve. I did wash my car yesterday and found the clips under one of the rear passenger mats. They'll be installing them this Thursday when I go in for the block heater and car starter.
I'm well past break in now (over 1500 miles) and time to time I let her rip up the rev range past 5,000 rpms, not even full throttle and she scoots with such zeal. Sounds good too. So expect more oomph once you're past break in. The radio sound will really improve after several hours of play.
Yeah, I may have been a little over zealous in the first few days. Had to pass huge transports on my trip South for the Ventureshield so broke the "no high reving" rule for engine break-in. Well, it didn't happen often so I hope the engine won't be adversely impacted down the road! Love the radio. No complaints. Hooking up my ipod was super easy! I still haven't figured out where my 5-mode equalizer is, nor is there any reference to this in the manual.
But contrary to Honda's specs or what's listed in the brochure, there IS no 5 way EQ. It was only on the 07-08s. It's not really needed though, the sound is quite good.

Oh wait...you don't have the gear indictor? How does Honda not include this necessary feature? Are you supposed to close your eyes, put one hand on the tranny tunnel and guess what gear you're in? But I guess since you guys don't have the flappy paddles either it's not necessary. I just answered my own question.
So what's there in place of the digital gear indicator?

You use the same lever than lowers the seat backs down. You just lift it up then push the seat backs backwards instead. Not sure how far they go as I have not done this yet...
Oh yes. Already researched, purchased, and tested the wheel fitment so my winter set is ready to go! I got 15" steel rims (Honda Civic - confirmed that these fit on my '09 Fit Sport since I went in yesterday and they tried them on my car) and Nokian Hakkalepiitta (sp?) R dedicated winter tires (185/60 R15). Purchased through Kal Tire since they're one of the few tire retailers that carry the Nokian tires. Several reviews placed them as tops in terms of studless winter tires - actually, they raved about the Nokian Hakkalepiitta RSI tires which are now replaced by the more advanced Nokian Hakkalepiitta R tires. I could have actually went with the Nokian Hakkalepiitta5 STUDDED tires since these are now legal North of Parry Sound. I take a few trips down south though so didn't want to be running studded tires going 120 km/hr on the 400!
Well if you put your face to the window (or even in very bright sunlight from a ways away) you CAN see into the car even with 15% tint. The cover is just added security though the snaps are a bit of a hassle. Guess I could leave them undone and just recline the rear passenger seats back.
Ok, I need some opinions. I already have the "carbon fiber look" door switch panel trim. Now I'm debating between the meter trim or the side outlet panel trim. Of course BOTH would be ideal, but if given the choice which would you prefer? See picture here for reference:

If I were to choose, it would be the gauge cluster visor. It's a central location, where your eye immediately goes to, so having it there and then your door trim would balance out. But I would get both if I could.
I've seen a few 07-08 Fits with this and it looked great.
Hey Canada Girl! How are you loving your car so far?

So, all in all MAJOR hit! I'll ask about the headrest this week so hope that it isn't my imagination. Oh and, um, I already emailed my dealer saying that I want BOTH interior trim pieces. Yes, I'm in trouble here! Well I'm in my car for 1.5-2 hours/day so do like to make it pretty. Next will be the carbon fiber b-pillar trim once I can put aside enough $$$
Hey. Aside from my headrest complaint, I am LOVING the GR8 Pumpkin (as my sister has nicknamed my ride)! Seriously, everything about it is fabulous. I got used to the high seated position pretty quick and find the seats very comfortable. I had 4 hour (non-stop) drives the day after I picked up my car then the day after that, so I got to know my dislikes VERY quickly! Love the fact that I can play my ipod and see the info on my audio display. Also, the location of pretty much everything is very intuitive. I was pretty floored when I found out that the fuel door has a fuel cap holder built in! Talk about attention to detail.

I myself don't notice anything wrong with the headrests. Maybe I have my seatback more reclined. What if you buy one of those aftermarket seat cushions which includes the seat back cushion. This would push the headrest back. Though you would lose some bolstering and support.
And be glad that those "carbon fiber" trim pieces are not real carbon fiber. lol. $$$$$$$
Glad you're loving it. Word of caution...I'm loving my car more every week. So be prepared. You may find yourself sleeping in it at nights.

I did recline my seat and switched out the headrests. Much better! Think I've found my sweet spot for driving position. I do really love the centre armrest as the height is perfect and it is well padded. Oh, one other minor quibble is that there is no place to put my CDs! Wish that centre console has more storage other than a small top shelf. Actually, I haven't checked out the storage compartment under the rear seat. Maybe there's room there for a few CDs??? Off exploring!
I put my owners manual and other booklets in that compartment in the rear seat. This frees up my glove box for other more useful stuff. Maybe you can do this and put your cds in the glove box?
I just picked up my TW Sport MT yesterday and its a pretty smooth ride!
The dealer installer the cargo cover but the flap clipping into the back seat i found were quite dumb. I'm planning on removing the flaps and just recline the seat all the way back to cover the gap.
Anyone else do this?

Ok. Bit worried since the folder the dealer gave me is a bit dense but it fit in that under-seat compartment! Does free up alot of room to put stuff in my glovebox.
Also loving my all weather mats. At first I wasn't so sure since they will need frequent cleaning (if you're a car neat freak as I am) but the coverage and fit is impecable. Really glad I have these now. Will be even happier once my driver mat clips are installed!
I was even a bit iffy on the bumper applique since I wasn't sure if it would detract from the "ka-POW" orange color. However, it really ties in with the black on the hatch very well so it's a nice addition. Oh, and I did buy it for practicality of course (protect my bumper "shelf").
You're right, I'm loving my car more and more all the time! Driveability is excellent, comfort for 4 full size adults astonishing, and cargo space is of course unparalleled in such a small car. Well, the trunk itself is about 6" shorter than in my Mazda3, but with all the magic seat configurations this isn't even on my "quibble" list.....
LOVE the Gr8 Pumpkin!

We are talking about the Shift Lever Position Indicators right? Check out p.219 in the manual. Apologize in advance if we are not talking about the same thing.
Just back from checking more things out. You're right, if I put my manual in the back then I have room for a few CDs in my glove box! Smart idea. I was pretty surprised at how much room that under seat compartment actually has. Tried reclining my rear seats...great! Man, I am loving this car more and more by the minute. Going out for another visit!

I just came back from detailing my car for the first time. I polished it, so I can see any chips/scratches.
I found 2 small chips on the hood, and a few on the front bumper, though the ones on the bumper looked more like scratches, as if someone else scratched it before delivery.
I dabbed the 2 hood chips with touch up. But I was actually a little surprised to find 2 so soon. Maybe I only expected one.

Some good shots
