HVAC controls getting warm

HVAC controls getting warm
Does anyone else's HVAC controls get warm at night when the lights are on? Im assuming its a normal thing since the car is still using small bulbs behind the controls. Maybe an LED replacement would help.

My wife made a 100 mile jorney the other night and she said they got very hot to the touch. Maybe they double as a cigar lighter!!!
I will have to check mine next time Im out at night.....

? do you guys have the dimmer cranked all the way up to full
brightness?
