Will I be able to get a booster seat for a 3 yr. old, a rear facing infant carrier, my wife AND me (6 foot 2, 200 pounds) in a 2d gen Fit??

Thanks for your input.

you should have no problem fitting. I took my 2 year and his car seat and strapped it on the fit during test drives. I suggest doing the same.

Better yet take the whole family just to be on the safe side

There will even be lots of room as the kids grow.

Our other vehicle is a Toyota Sequoia. The Fit will be my DD, but on occasion we'd like to be able to put the whole family in there. I know it'll seat 4 without any issues, but those rear facing infant carriers are real space hogs. I'm thinking that carrier can go in the back, right seat. The booster seat can be in front passenger spot, and the wife can sit behind me.

I think it's best to put the 2 kids in the back with you and your wife in front. Try that first.

I'll try that - as soon as my Fit comes in. Should be December. What's driving me crazy is that one of my neighbors - 1 street over - has my car in his driveway. It's a SSM, '09, Sport - just like I'm getting. I've never seen one on the road and there one is, just a few houses away. Cruel world!

If you don't know your neighbor then this sounds like an opportunity to walk over and get to know them (and the car).

i have my in-laws coming in town with a 8 month old. it'll be 4 adults and the baby. do you have to put the baby in the middle back seat? or can you put the baby in the left back seat or right back seat?

i am curious cause to see if you can put a baby seat next to the side airbags.

thanks
