How roomy is the back for kids?
How roomy is the back for kids?
I test drove the Fit yesterday and loved it. My only concern is my 8month old (in a car seat) and my 8 year old (just seatbelt).
Down the line, do you think I could squeeze a booster seat, car seat and one kid?

We only need a booster now(10year old and 8year old)--I just measured 30" left of the back seat with the booster in. Three kids fit back there fine with one in the booster seat. I sure it will be pretty tight, assuming the kid is between the booster and the 'baby' seat but I think most cars are. I took a photo and I'll try to post it tomorrow--new camera to figure out
. Hope this helps.

I have 3 little folks. 10 year old boy who is 5' tall and 120lbs!! My 7 year old daughter...don't know her height but about 50lbs or so. And my little fat baby who is almost 2 and rides steady in a car seat. I don't think that they are terribly uncomfy...They don't have room to wrestle around, but that's good.
To give you an idea, we tossed the kids, me, my wife, 2 suitacases, and a dog in a kennel on a 3 hour drive...more than once...and no one is complaining! Except for dad controlling the radio!

Absolutely. The door panel does not hang 40" into the rear seat area, so a booster seat and an adult or any child leaves plenty of room to adjust and such. We've sat an adult, 14yo and a 5yo with booster seat in there and it was still not as bad as the A3 back seat.
I posted this just last week

Not sure what your state age is but out here it went from 4 yrs to 7 yrs and under has to be in a seat. I have 3 kids who are 4, 6 & 8, when we first got the fit I had 2 Britax Marathons in both outboard positions, using the latch and tethers as close to the doors as possible and the seats were both rock solid, with the oldest wedged in the middle. Then the 6 year old got a little taller so she could go into a HBB so traded out for one marathon, HBBs just use the vehicle seat belt so they don't need latch. The fit has 4 latch point (2 are needed for each car seat) and 3 tether anchors. So finally, IMO yes you should be able to squeeze 2 convertibles and 1 hbb in the back seat the fit would be tight, But hopefully your oldest will be safe enough without to just be wedged in the middle.
