Here's another variation of the orange Pufferfit:

Hmm...didn't come up for some reason.

I have a poll going on which of 4 designs people prefer. We'll be finalizing this today so, if interested, please vote here: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gaug...al-design.html

Not to be a "stick in the mud", but doesn't using the Honda logo and the pufferfish itself bring up some licensing issues?

Well he's not going "mass market" (likely just 1 small run) and is giving them away to close friends for, um, "tips" (as per someone else's suggestion). If someone from Honda ever asks me where I got it, I'll just say "oh I got it as a gift" so how would they trace it back to the designer?

Plus, it's only good advertising, free I might add, for them. Not doing any harm, only the opposite. Honda should be PAYING me, not suing me.

"Pufferfit decal, what Pufferfit decal? How the heck did THAT get on my car!" I've got my defense all lined up in case some Honda rep sees the sticker in the first place then actually bothers to inquire about it.... we got your back CrystalFiveMT...

No biggie, just saying. I deal with products and licensing where I work. Companies FREAK when they see their logo not licensed.

It's possible I can replace the H logo with something else, or nothing.

We did consider it but in light of the small number of these being distributed and considering there would be no way to trace it back to the designer, where's the harm? Thanks for bringing it up though....

That's a thought! We'll all know it's Honda's Pufferfit but everyone else will just see a little fish on a car! Oh, good thinking...that would then negate my objections to your first design showing a spiky little fish eating a Honda logo...

No, if just a few were distributed for free it is no big deal.

I won't tell anyone

No harm exercising some caution though. If we (LOL...like I have ANYTHING to do with the design phase) remove the H then I can't see anyone ever issuing a complaint over a spiky little fish on a car, right?

Well, not completely out of the woods. It still has the likeness of their PufferFit.

And...if they really want to investigate, they can find me through this very thread!
