Is your boyfriend's car stock or fixed up? I feel like fixed up cars draw more attention and cops are more likely to pull you over (especially if they're bored and have quotas to meet). Should have just offered the officer some animal fries and a double double.

On the exterior, just mud flaps and some wheels... really not that flashy, at least at night.

get the license plate adjuster and put it to one side. Makes it look better than front and center..

I live in Socal, pretty much all the cars Ive owned had no front plates... Just tell them you bought it that way and will get it fixed..use your girl powers to trick the cop...

I got a fix it for my Audi once(no tint) and the CHP guy signning off on the tint saw it had no front plate, I told him oh I got it that way and will fix it, he looked at me for a few seconds and signed off on my ticket and left....I think you got unlucky..

Ouch that sucks. It's illegal to run with no front plate here in CT but I don't anyways. I did with my previous car cuz the dealer drilled my bumper, they didn't on my Fit thank god. I drove around for about 8 months or so with no problem (I have 20% tint too), I finally got stopped on campus by the campus police, he said he'd let me go that time but if they caught me again without it, it'd be a ticket. I zip-tied it to my bumper for the rest of the semester and took it off after that and have been running it for about 5 months with no problems again, I keep it in the storage pouch behind the passenger seat though, I plan on throwing it in the window if they pull me over lol.
