its for the advanced airbag system, it detects when the seat is either empty or the occupant weighs less than the US Standard for the airbag to deploy.

Norihito on eBay, but its a lot more now. I guess the dollar has weakened against the yen.

Thanks, those were taken with my older Sony DSC F717 that's for sale on eBay now.

in america, you have to be fat enough so the airbag won't hurt you when it goes off in a crash when the driver's hand slips from eating the burger and fries.
