Metra 99-7877S Installed

It took me a little over 4 hours to install the Eclipse with Metra 99-788S.

I gotta be honest...that is hideous. Sorry vwli. Maybe it's functional as all hell, but it looks out of place to me....

nicely done! i really like the match with the nob control on the unit to the car's control nobs and the removable nav is SWEET. kudos!

the only way it ever looks really good (in my opinion) is if you have madd moneys and can afford to put one of those $1000 head units in there with the dvd/nav. just one big touch screen.

that being my reason for not putting an aftermarket head unit in my car. ohh i want one so badly

props for the functionality and install though

I agree totally. I picked this Eclipse unit up used with a price I cannot resist. It has every function I need. DVD is nice. But you are not suppose to watch when driving. When parked with ignition off, The tiny Fit battery is not going to last long playing DVD anyway.
