Please let us know. Ours must be on the same ship. Our dealer in Illinois said that their information only said "in transit."

The only news was an assign date of 12/5? VIN assigned that date? Still 'in transit'.

Mine shipped 12/9. My dealer first said probably by the end of the month or early January, but now he told me that Honda is making a big push to get all ordered cars to their destinations before the end of the year. This means mine could possibly be here this coming week.

Yeah, I think we all have a good change of getting them before the end of the year.

As far as knowing where it is, my dealer had to call someone to find exactly where it was, but they hadn't called back yet. I am hoping tomorrow they will know. They said they should be able to find out the exact day it will be arriving.

I talked to the dealer today and they did not have an exact location for the car, but their contact had left a message saying it looks like it might go in to January.

On the same token, he also said they just had a car arrive today that wasn't supposed to be here until January. He said they are really hoping that happens so they can get their numbers in.

Also, I just got my loan. I financed through PenFed Credit Union at 4.75%. My check will be in the mail tomorrow.

My dealer told me today my car is still in California, sitting on the ship, docked in the port. It has not been unloaded yet. It has been sitting at the dock for a long time now. It is scheduled to be unloaded tomorrow if the weather is good.

They said it doesn't take long once it's on the train.

Guess it will be a New Years baby.

I have a very similar story re: vehicle (manual/sport/navi), build date, and in transit etc. Last update was 12/9 saying it was on it's way. I talked to the dealer yesterday, they had very little info other than basically what's been said above. I was about to call bs, thankfully I read this string to help calm my nerves that it isn't just dealer hijinks... I look forward to hearing some good news soon (for all of us!)

Yeah, and my salesman is my best friend's dad. I think he is being pretty straight with me...well, as much as a car salesman can be at least.

Not from here (in OK). Our salesman emailed yesterday, with essentially no news. Assured us 'it is still coming'? Hopefully just means it is on its way ;-) Also, promised to let us know 'when it hits the ground'. Not so comforting either :-) Did he mean in CA or OK? I'm looking forward to news of some new MT owners in CA, tomorrow, early next week...

Of course, since ordering so long ago the value of our trade-in has dropped. Anyone else had this problem? Hopefully no more before delivery (next week??). Can't even argue that the value of the new car may have dropped since so few MT around and none with Navi/VSA. AT's seem to be in stock but somewhat more expensive and not MT!

It's in (your) town or your salesman's estimate? Sounds good. Good luck.

I heard yesterday that it's off the ship in Portland, expect it in 10 days or so (midwest). A VIN has been assigned, so hoping the timing here is accurate. No great explanation on the date gaps other than holidays etc. It'll be interesting to see the build date when I finally p/u the car.

I was told mine is coming in January definitely, but no delivery date, build date, or VIN. So I'm hoping within the next few weeks I will be picking up my 5MT Sport Navi, after a 4 month wait.

hoping....

I just went in to the dealer today and they told me my car was just in Arizona and they will check the status again Monday.

I guess it came in with yours and it's on it's way east. Hopefully soon!

Just heard from the dealer that our Sport MT Navi is due into Galesburg, IL sometime between the 8th and the 12th. November 27 build date.
