not sure about mdx cover for the TL key but most use the rdx faceplate. Should be $10-15 at the dealer.

Any confirmation either way if it's possible to do the acura switchblade mod on the 09? With either a TL or RSX fob? I noticed on ebay that the 09 key is different from the previous, different model number, so maybe an 09 acura key will work with an 09 fit? I hope there is a way. I think it's one of the coolest little features of my brother's TL.

I personally love the integrated keyfob in the key. I hate the dangly think on my S2000, as I knee it all the time while driving, and it's down right distracting. Unfortunately the S2000 radio frequency is the old style and doesn't match the new style transmitters.

If you want the Acura swingblade key, go for the RDX, as it doesn't have the trunk button. Also, be sure to disable the memory seat, or your remote won't work perfectly. Also to work the dealer must program the new immobi chip to work with your ECU. Most of the Honda/Acura keys are compatible. The key is the transmit frequency. A good dealer can look this up, and there are many internet forums that outline the disabling of memory seats.

If you are looking to get rid of the key fob because you have an aftermarket alarm, buy the blank for the S2000. Once you get it cut, and the immobi programmed you will have a third key.

Well, I don't even have my Fit yet, and ordered the TL key and RSX trunkless cover today. We'll see how it goes in a month or so. I will try out the insides before I get the key cut just in case. If it works, I'll post pictures, if it doesn't, I'll have a blank Acura TL switchblade key for sale

Well I ordered the TSX key as well now, so I guess I will have one for sale after I test them both
