Gas Cubby app for Hypermiling and stats

I posted this in the 2nd gen. forum but thought the Hypermilers might be into this more.

Here's a neat little app if you have an Iphone. I've been using it for a few days and have been liking the idea. It's basically an app that allows you to track any maintenance, car info. and gas mileage. It's onsale now for $2.99 at Apple (regularly $9.99). And no I don't work for Apple or Gas Cubby . I just thought some Fit owners might enjoy this like I have.

I tend to protest paying for any app (kinda funny, considering where I work) but THIS will quickly earn a place on the main home screen for me! Way prettier than the excel spreadsheet I was going to use Just wish I'd caught it at $2.99, its now at $4.99, still good though...

AccuFuel

I'm going to try AccuFuel for $0.99. Looks like it'll do what I need.

I'm a Windows Mobile User and use GasUpLogger for tracking Fuel Economy. I've been using it for about 2.5 years and it ran on my Dell Axim X50 (WM2003) and my Samsung Omnia (WM6.1) and while it isn't as asthetically pleasing as the iphone apps, it tracks my economy.

oh... and it's Free

Been using this app since the purchase of my 09 Fit in August.

Fuelly | Share and Compare Your MPG is a nice site. Going to m.fuelly.com on your smarphone's browser will let you log in easily from your phone and you can compare to others. Plus if you switch phones, you don't lose your data. I dig it.

this happened to me. I didn't re-download the app and haven't started using it again... one more thing to have to remember to do and I already have enough crap to remember to do lol

Yeah. I have the old track for my Subaru, the new track for my Fit, and also tracks for my Porsche and wife's Prius - though I never have bothered to update either of those. I don't fill my wifes car, and for the 914... i'd rather not know. :-)

It also minds oil changer intervals, wiper intervals, tracks service charges. Its pretty damned cool. And free, too, if you don't mind a small ad on the screen. I got the Ad version, and never saw a reason to upgrade to the full paid version.

Search my threads for the one I started titled: 1 year and 38mpg. there's an Excel Sheet with all of the calculations done. all you have to do is add your own data. OpenOffice.org is Free (and available for the MAC) and the Excel sheet works fine on that if you don't have Excel.

I've since upgraded my Phone to the Motorola DroidX2 Running android and have the "My Cars" free App. It keeps track of all of my data and allows a CSV Export so I can manipulate the data in Excel. it also has some built in stats and charts. It works well.
