Best/easiest cargo bulb replacement yet.

Not super cheap, but easily the simplest 168/194 bulb replacement that uses a 2 watt high power 4 led setup. Lights up the cargo area about 5x better.

V-LEDS HID WHITE 4 LED 2 WATT HP M-SMT FLANK BULBS 194 168 158

With this, plus the light switch mod for the cargo bay, it is now set as far as I'm concerned.

no, this is the best! 12 LEDs and fits nicely inside.

I have one and I have a pair in my dome, super bright.

Did you read the ad? Each one of those leds is the power of 10 regular leds - so, it's like having 40 leds!

Seriously though, what you have there might be a little brighter than the 4 HP leds, but not by much. It takes 2 watts of led power which should give you an idea of the lumens.

Those LEDs in the V-LEDs look just like the ones used in the ones I posted.

Here are the License plate ones I did as well.

Not sure. Not all leds are created equal. I don't see the actual technical specs on the site for your leds. On the same site I bought mine, they have a setup like yours, but they are cheaper in price. I think you pretty much get what you pay for here. The leds on the one I posted is a special high power variety... look the same but different in brightness - you can tell by the electrical components included on the pcb. The bulb I have looks so bright I can't even see the individual leds through the lens - it's too bright. But still, yours is probably slightly brighter using many more leds, even if not as bright per led.

What are the exact leds did you order for the entire setup? For license plate and cargo? I like it!!

the dome looks slightly more blueish than the cargo & license plate. I'm worried the white LEDs are actually too bluish for external use like license plates to be legal.

Nah it's the white balance on the camera that throws it off. It's very white in person. Brighter than the IS250 ones.

BTW, if someone hasn't figured it out already, you can go to my photo album from the pics posted above, I have pictures of the type of bulbs I used.

The new Lexuses (LEXI?) have LED plate lights that are about the same color temp.

I prefer Oznium dome ultra thin dome lights. I wired 2, 1.25x1.25 orange ones together, into my orange fit. I have a blue one in my xB and its awesome. Excellent customer service too..

I just ordered these for my license plate:

They measure 10mm x 25mm says v-led
We will see

So a question, which ones are you using in the right bulb in this pic? They look more blue than the left side. I'm assuming the left side is soft white, and the rightside is just regular LED 'white'?

I was using an inverted Polarg LED, which the light throw was horrible for this purpose and yes it's a little bluish.

The new LEDs as you saw in the pic has a Yellow coat which I believe helps give it a more soft white look.

These work and look great! The only issue I had was one was harder to plug in as the base is slightly thicker than the stock bulb.
