anyone know how to take off the silver rings on the gauges?

anyone know how to take off the silver rings on the gauges?

I was wondering if anyone knew how to take off the silver rings on the gauges, i wanted to paint them, but needed some help taking it off...

I would like to know how to get the gauge cluster out entirely as well.

The cluster covers has a bunch of clips holding it in.. it's kind of a gut check pulling it off... made me think I had broke something when taking it off

Is it the top piece above the cluster you take off first? I can see its a separate panel, but damn its on there tight.

no kidding dude, its like you gotta hack at that thing... but i just stopped after realiizing how tight it was on there. maybe itd help if we knew where the clips were?

yep JDM_DOHC_SIR needs to come up off an exploded view that we know he has.
