Was having problems with my huge work boots getting hung up on the WeatherTech Floor Liners I previously bought. My U-Ace mats came in today so I swapped those out in the red car. The WeatherTechs are going in the black one.

It will not work in USDM Honda Fit, cuz you have left handed steering weel.
And your wipers are moving in other direction.
Look at my photo. You see from the left side a little difference ... its not simmetrical with the right side.

The istallation is very simple. 5 screws from the bottom side ... and 2 screws in the sides of top.

Earlier this week I passed 30,000 miles on my 2012 Fit. It still drives great, and I love it. I've had it for 18 months; the commute to work adds up the mileage a lot, but luckily a majority of it is on the interstate, so there's not much stop-and-go to wear things down.

I also rotated tires, changed the cabin air filter, and changed the oil. Is it overkill if I go for the best FRAM filter there is? XG7317 -- sounds like I ought to get the Ultra filter for my car and nothing less. It's not that much more expensive.

Holy hell, don't get a FRAM! Might as well put sand in your engine. Even guys who work at the auto store will tell you not to get one. Just get the OEM filter from Honda, it's like $7 or something. That's what I always do. Don't know if there truly is a better oil filter for our cars.

Actually, the FRAM filter he's using is highly regarded on the 'Bob is the oil guy forums'. Cut Open FRAM XG717 Honda Applications - Bob Is The Oil Guy

This isn't the orange can of death. The XG7317 is a high end filter that FRAM makes. It was cut open in that thread.

Eh, just my two cents. I wouldn't ever use a FRAM. Google is littered with horrible reviews of their filters. If they make crappy filters then ONE high end one, I still wouldn't trust it to be great quality. OEM all the way. It's what the manufacturer puts in the car so I trust it beyond anything else.

We all have our two cents. Even though I run the OEM oil filter myself, I would trust that filter.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't realize the plain FRAMs were that bad. It's strange that I don't see the Ultras in auto stores. But Walmart has them.

I don't mind trying out an OEM for my next change:
Honda OEM Oil Filter (Fits all except S2000) w/ FREE crush washer : Amazon.com : Automotive
I did a quick search on Amazon; is this the right one?

Yeah that's it. All Honda oil filters are the same, except the one for the s2k, it's larger. Do you have a local Honda dealer tho? It would be cheaper than that one on amazon, at least they are at my dealer. They give you the new crush washer as well.

I have been thinking of doing the lower grille section. How many coats on the hood and roof?

I did it outside.
The hood is Hexis CF Vinyl. The roof has 4 coats on it and it looks kinda uneven from close up. Still like it though. i might redo it when it warms up.

Krunk, I've got the exact opposite. My roof if hexis cf vinyl and my hood is pd. the uneven-ness went away after about a day on my hood. Hope it clears up for you too! I'm seriously considering peeling the pd and putting some vinyl on instead. Trying to decide if I wanna wrap the whole car (thinkin matte white)
