Why didn't you just press "A" on the steering wheel and jump it?

Is it an odd kind of screeching sound? Mine does that once in a while when I park and the doors unlock.

Mine does it when I turn the key off and the doors unlock (5MT). But only sometimes.

Yeah I think this sound you guys are talking about is normal. It just sounds as if the motors for the locks continue just a sec too long after they're unlocked, right? Mine does it. It's just an economy Honda, not a luxury car. One random little thing that makes it a littler cheaper than other, nicer cars. Just have to deal w/ it.

Today I installed all weather mats, cargo liner, OEM remote start. I do have the OEM window visors but I am waiting to install those for a week or so.

Got my Fit back with tinted windows and roof wrap, now I need to get some better pics in the sun. I'm digging the brushed steel wrap more than I thought I would, but I think 20% 3M Colorstable might be darker than I wanted.

*ordered* a wiper refill for the passenger side from my dealer. Things like this drive me crazy. They don't stock them because "we don't see a lot of Fits". You sell a car, carry some parts for it. I don't care if I bought the only one. You sold a particular vehicle, keep things for it in stock.

Did a clutch delay valve delete. Wow what a difference! So far I am liking being able to feel the clutch through the peddle. Ran out of time though today and I need to do the pedal adjustment tomorrow.
