The '13 CR-V is a nice vehicle and should work well. (My parents just picked up a '12 about 3 months ago)
Congrats again.

Thanks SB. I'm actually selling my 02 CRV as well since it's a manual and wife cannot drive it. I've found a used 03 Acura TL (I had a type-S a few years back) and that should have enough room to haul all the baby stuff. The wife will upgrade to the new CRV also.

He's 6 weeks old today and is sleeping pretty decent. We cannot complain! Once he's big enough, we will go to Kirklands from Costco (since they are the same as Huggies). It should be a little bit cheaper.

Eventually we will probably be back to a fit...who knows.

And what I'm doing with my Fit today? Clean up the interior....

Painted three of the four snow tire rims. The fourth has a leaky valve stem I want to get taken care of first.

Later on today I loaded an Ikea queen size bedframe into the FIT and hauled it to my daughter's college in Dartmouth MA, The bed was in 3 flat boxes that fit nicely with the back seats folded flat. Because of the bed length, I needed to extend one of the long boxes about 10" out the back. No problem with the hatch tied down on top of the box.

Yes, Fit is definitely a capable IKEA hauler.

Oh and yah, unless one has 3+ kids, the Fit will do fine. Be silly to sell it.

evil- dayam, you guys are brave!

for me, just backed out the GE out of the way to pull out my G. i think i want to offset the rear ET40 to ET37 using a 3mm. the front has a tad too much poke vs rear at the moment. currently running 16x7 ET40 205/50/16. no rubbing.

Agreed, We pack our dog, baby, and all of their crap in my fit all the time.

The only time two kids would be a problem is if you have two rear facing car seats. Being 6', I would not be able to drive with my seat that far up lol.

The glare is there but so far it hasn't effected me, I'm sure the passenger gets the brunt of it.
