What he said. If only I could ship my car and myself to Japan to touge with 555 for a few days...a man can only dream.

seems the "Eibach" word is upside down when it was fixed to my car.

We did try to switch it but the plastic cover couldn't fit properly. the springs couldn't go to the end.

This is the end results

Oh.. my throttle controller
The eibach is upside down because you guys drive on the wrong side of car/road. If you drove on the other side, it would be just fine. IT also may be that the Eibachs are actually right side up but because you are below the equator, the car is upside down.

Sorry, couldn't resist

I'd contact Eibach but it is probably just the name stamping process. Others may be able to assist verifying this (or you might be able to see if others have he same issue in pics on some threads here)

Yeah, I don't know about the Eibachs. I know when I had Tein S Techs it was important to put them in the right way, and that was w/ the logo right side up.

Where'd you get the clear bra? I have been wanting to make some strips for my roof rack feet.

I know its an ancient mod, but I did the "JDM" wiper mod a few days back. Looking awesome, and now not catching crap on the wiper blade.

Used my first waterless wash product today. Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere.
  1. It smells nice.
  2. It went on and came off easy.
  3. Left a nice shine with not alot of work.

you can source generic rolls from amazon.

this year im using the scotchguard (3M) 6mil on my cars. front area on the GE, side rockers on my 370Z. very easy to apply and cut. here's a 4" but they sell 6" widths too.

Amazon.com: 3.75Roll X75Clear Ure Protect Film: Home Improvement Amazon.com: 3.75Roll X75Clear Ure Protect Film: Home Improvement

but for this project, i used leftover xpel 8mil i had from a previous install.

for me, just pulled back the GE off the driveway so i could pull out my G this am.

i pointed the GE towards the afternoon sun so the clearbra has a chance to dry... was 32F this am so probably frosty between the adhesive and paint. hahahaha. i did use a heatgun though yesterday so i dont expect any problems with adhesion.

No, no, no Chris!!! We all enjoy and most are probably envious of your JDM goodies. Heck, you didn't post very frequently the past few weeks and I was getting "JDM racing parts withdrawal".
Please continue to update us on the niceness Japan has and we can't fit on our cars.

Does the whole assembly flip back like the original armrest, giving your arm clearance to shift (if you had a manual I mean)?
I know you got your answer, but just to give you my experiences with the armrest and MT... It's great, no issues at all with shifting or pulling the parking brake. I do have to pull the brake from the side, but it's a natural instinct. Also you technically only lose 1 cup holder (the little one left fits a Red Bull quite snug).

if it's the seat mounted armrest, i dont use it during surface road driving. it gets into the way of my shifting.

i used it during my longer trip last month and for that, it was nice to have.

Well, the car is still dirty but I wanted to post a couple of pictures of my JDM tail lights

Finally cleaned the egg off the side from the vandals' attack on my car a while back. Still have to replace the passenger side mirror (its on, but it sags because they busted the mount inside. Apparently, Honda won't sell the parts I need without buying the $400 mirror assembly). Replaced the absolutely filthy air filter, and filled it it up with winter washer fluid.

If all goes well, I'll have winter tires on the pizza cutters in a few weeks, then I can mount the stock tires on my holies.
