Lol come roll with me TC! You'll out run the 'Z till you hit the speed limiter(if you still have that) and then I'll pass you, set cruise at 125 and just chill doing 24ish mpg.

Interesting. I didn't know the law applied to solid blue. Where are you if you don't mind me asking?

im from glendale heights where i drove by carol stream police all the time with these lights on and nothing.

i was heading to gurnee on 45 and got lit up at townline/45 cop was in the right only and then stopped stuck his head out looked at my car then pointed his finger at me to pull over.

"those lights they are illegal" exactly what he said. they arent blinking or nothing.

You've got me with anything with a Z in the name except a Zundapp motor scooter... I don't think I have ever gone much over 130 in my little shitbox.. I'm still throwing hundred dollar bills at it so watch out....

Waste of gas is when you're no longer having fun driving... regardless of mpg...

I'll check on that at work then. I could have sworn solid was ok.

It's just a CRZ but its a good bit faster than my fit was stock. Especially top speed wise. Now once I start throwing hundreds at it..

After commuting 70 miles round trip on a Lambretta 150 that would get 100 MPG at 35 and half that much running wide open at just over 50 if the wind was blowing in my favor, I can honestly say that a 15MPH gain in speed was worth doubling my fuel consumption... That was back when there was a national top speed limit of 55MPH and gasoline had climbed to $0.50 a gallon so I spent less than $1.00 a day commuting even when figuring in the cost of 2 cycle oil that was mixed 40 parts
gas to 1 part oil.. I actually got a ticket for 20 over the speed limit one night.. The cops were laughing their asses off about writing a speeding ticket to someone riding something so rinky dink... Girls that wouldn't be caught dead on a big motorcycle would get on the back of it in a second... It was kind of like a Fit when you think about it.

Just a private software company that makes stuff for law enforcement. Gives me a few nice personal perks. I'll see what I can find out about the lighting. To be safe though I'd disconnect the blue's if its possible without too much trouble. I'll shoot you a PM with what I find out.

Oh and do you have what he wrote on your ticket/warning? Should be a statute code or a written statement of what he citing on it.

gave me a warning thoe for my clean record (asked if i had any tickets, maybe the i heart driving slow plate frame helped?)
the problem starts when you hit the turn signal... yes it stays blue but the amber flashing signal also makes your blue light seem to be flashing.

Jack stands? I don't need no stinkin' jack stands! Just parked with the back tires over a ledge so the nose pointed up.

Thumbs up Variable Intermittent Wipers

Got the Variable Intermittent Wipers mod done this weekend... not an easy mod at all. My hands got cut up so bad, but it was worth it.
