Are you guys going to be offering this as a kit and maybe a discount for fellow Fit owners?
Saw that in the other thread and really want to do something very similiar. Parts list? any DIY in the making?
There is no rotational aiming of the Mini D2S needed when used in the H4 socket, however vertical and horizontal alignment are necessary and are done via the factory headlight alignment.

I can definitely retrofit a pair of LS460s for you if you want to go that route. A DIY on the LS460s would be very difficult and would basically give away confidential information. It's a one-off install that many professional retrofitters are paid a lot of money to do.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I will definitely be contacting you when the time comes for me do this mod (and the money). I saw that post and thought that was a great combination, especially how clean the led rings look with the shroud you used.
Is that possible with the Mini D2S's? Which shroud is that?

Aside from that it's exactly the same - blinking red when locked, solid blue when unlocked, and off when key is inserted.
Shipping is relatively pricey, and expect a wait with customs releasing the package.

The Mini D2S kit with Gatling 2.0s is $295 shipped in the US. The D2S projector fits into the Fit's H4 socket without any work and alignment is even pre-set!

Got around to putting my eyelids on. Had to take off the vinyl ones when I did my retro, so I made some fiberglass ones...

The LS460s have their own clear shrouds, actually. We could mimic the look by putting CCFLs or LEDs behind a shroud that has openings such as the Apollos.

air filter, oil change, new brake fluid, and a tire rotation. i wonder how much that would have cost at a dealership or an independent mechanic?

Cool

Drove through the Cascades this afternoon. While US 2 isn't the Dragon's Tail, it was still pretty fun. This guy got pulled over in front of me for speeding. He was tearing it up probably 25 over the limit. He zipped by me when he had the opportunity. Glad it wasn't me, but then again I was only doing 64.

Nice! I'd be interested in how the DWS's handle black ice in your neck of the woods. Enjoy!

I love the Cascades so much. I'll move there at some point in my life.

What did I do to my Fit? Hum... I swapped a tire to my spare because the tire was the victim of a bolt shoving its way through the tread face.

Goobz Saw that on another thread - Sure hope you can plug it. Really sucks when a match-up set of tires gets busted. Least it took out the most worn one, or had you swapped those to the rear?

Any way it sucks. It ain't karma, it ain't luck - sometimes it just beeez that way.

I drove to Pisgah NF, parked in a corner spot, hiked, came home and washed the bugs off!

no, hadn't rotated them since my last oil change.

got it patched earlier today... man, kinda annoyed. All he did was stick a piece of some material in... and that was it for $10. Well, I'm not annoyed at the guy, just the thought that maybe I should've done it myself.

I put the tire on... let's see how the patch holds up.

as for the karma/luck/breeze... it ain't a good one this month, whatever it is.

Full moon just swung through. Don't be annoyed when the tire guy fixes the hole ;-) He knew what to do and how to do it and $10 is an unheard of price - that's karma
