What did you do to your GE fit today?
I've done terrible thing to my Fit today - I traded Him in...alongside with 2005 Odyssey for 2010 CX-9.
Sorry, could not miss the opportunity to get it 3K below invoice and great del on trade-in's.
The reason? - Have to transport little kids on daily basis and want more safety confidence.
Going to miss my 5spd "Little Hamster" (c) my daughter.

How long did it take for this?
The back was not bad at all. The front wad a diffrent story. Just make sure you DON'T let the drivers side arm hang all the way down when you remove the strutt. The cv axle popped out and we had a "fun" time trying to get it back in.
The little h's are extremely easy. Just went to hobby lobby and got some model paint and a small brush. It turned out really nice.

Just got my fit and I'm in love. Cannot wait to mod the thing out. I've got a crystal black sport and wondering opinions for changing the front honda badge to the red badge? As well, swapping the fit badge to a jazz badge. Is there chances of corrosion with aftermarket badges? I'm from ontario, so weather gets pretty weird
Swapped my old yellow foglight vinyl for some nicer Lamin-X vinyl. The old ones burned onto the lenses pretty badly, which is probably partially my fault since I never bothered to wax them. Had to scrape the old stuff off with a knife, and somehow managed not to scratch the lenses.
Lamin-X isn't as yellow as I'd like, but I may get yellow bulbs. I might try adding a second layer of Lamin-X in the meantime, but I imagine that'll just burn. I miss the deeper yellow from before, but it'll do.

Poor quality cellphone pic, but the white balance is accurate. Headlights are Silverstar Ultras, Parking lights are "Warm White" LEDs from Superbrightleds.com, and fogs are stock bulbs + Lamin-X.

I bought a brand new, telescoping show brush/ice chisel today, along with another quart of Mobil 1 0w20 (just to stock up for the next oil change) and a bottle of the new Mequiars natrual shine for the interior bits. Yes, I was out there today in the sub 20 degree weather putting it on the dashboard too, but then opened the doors to do each door panel and rear hatch area too, in the cold but you know what, in the sun and the fact that I was busy doing this, it wasn't that bad. For the record, the weatherbug icon on our computer says 18 degree's right now and its 2:35 p.m. CST
Yes, I am certifiably....CAR CRAZY!

Are there better films than Lamin-X out there?
Thanks

I bought one 7x8 sheet, and it's enough to do both foglights 2x. It's really easy to make up a template and cut to size, and I think it cost me like $10 shipped and arrived in a few days.
I don't know about "better" but there are different options. A few board members sell different ones. What I like about the Lamin-X, as opposed to my last set, is that the Lamin-X is several times thicker. Aside from providing more substantial protection for the lens, It also shouldn't burn as easily as the paper-thin film I used last time.
I'm interested in their taillight film for a slightly tinted look, so I need to poke around and see if anyone's using it.
