It is NOT direct P&P, although the hardware will mount just fine in the existing hole on the roof and even reuse the same stock locking nut. The CONNECTOR is different, I dismantled both antenna's and did some light soldering work and switched the harness altogether. Signal seems about the same so far
Good to hear the mounting is fine... I don't mind having to solder connections. Thanks.
2 wires I'm guessing?

Honda part? or that VG one? I don't really care for the VG ones.

Did my first oil change at 8,000 miles with 15% life left. Has anyone else gained 3mpg after changing the factory fill to mobile1 0w20 synthetic? I went from getting 32mpg to 35mpg of all city driving with no other changes to my driving habits or tire pressure(37psi) over an average of 4 tanks at 8.7gal each.

Orederd the progress RSB and got some NIB progress springs from a friend that sold his fit for $50.

there are approximately 4 screws for the stock base, 2 holding the housing and 2 holding the circuit to the metal base (all philips). The rubber piece is removable.

these are the points for desoldering

and this is what the ground is soldered to

unfortunately I did not photo the CRV sharkfin but the board on that is about x2 as large as ours and has a separate LARGE metal plate that contours the inner fin.
There are 5 screws holding the housing, 2 for the metal fin antennae, and IIRC 3 holding the circuit to the base (all philips, removed in that order of course). you'll instantly notice the same points for 2 of the spots and then an irregular point just below it (for ground). you may need ether another pair of hands or an alligator clamp holding it in place while you try to desolder the ground on this.
The rest is just working in reverse with the stock harness in the new circuit. you'll also need to unclip the male end of the connector from our car frame as it has shortened the harness by an inch preventing you from connecting it regularly, mine's just hanging lose

Installed my J's oil cap! Love the way it looks in there! My craptastic phone camera does it no justice. The blue is actually quite a bit deeper than it looks here.

Just have to sort out my battery purchase (still trying to figure out which route to go), then install my intake.

A really good seller on eBay: http://stores.ebay.com/advanceautodesign/

I highly recommend, even if you don't buy from them. A lot of their listings for commonly faked products (like oil caps & rad caps) tell you how to spot a fake.

Recently got my MAXXIS 205/50/15 tires installed. 4th gear is useful on the highway now!! 23.1 inches tall versus 24inches factory

Swapped my 12000k HID bulbs for 3000k, they are sucky yellow, but they are much brighter, and they are better for foggy and winter weather, which will soon be upon us in the north.

Replacing my small sealed dual 12 box with a larger slot ported dual 12 box, should improve how the Fusion Powerplants bump to the music. Shit, they better bump, they are over 10 years old!! And still kicking hard as hell

Had my eye on this thing for a while since Meatbaby posted it a while back and finally decided to order one up. Works really well with the Mugen short shifter and Mugen shift knob. Thanks to Meatbaby for being the first and posting the info for it.

I also installed some EV door switch trim pieces which make a nice upgrade, but you have to remove the whole door panel to install them. Took a bit of time, but the end results are worth it.

port tuning is usually for bass response. Doesnt hurt the subs at all if the subs are designed for ported boxes. Luckily, my Fusions are at home in either type of box.
