On your black Fit, glossy pillars looks great. I do however like the matte black on the pillars of my silver Fit.

Sometime in the past few days, I turned over 50,000 miles (on my 2012, about two years and two months old).

You drive a lot (50K in 2 yrs).
My 2012 turned 18K today, but I bought it in the end of 2012 and my commute to work is only 32 miles (and I ride a scooter on weekends).

Installed K&N typhoon intake. Was my first ever intake install and really my first time doing anything of any sort under the hood of a car. Learned a lot and I love it so far.

I do drive quite a bit. My commute isn't bad (about 12 miles each way, and I can work from home sometimes), but I have taken a few extended road trips and a bunch of shorter daylong or overnight ones.

Haha I figured as much, I enjoyed the ride thus far but i'm ready for coil packs and wheel bearings and valve adjustments and all that crap. Taking care of things one at a time as preventative maintenance.

Not today, but in the past week installed a hidden hitch and wiring I got from etrailer, and have an automatic transmission cooler ready to go in. Some air bags from Firestone coming to round out the "get ready to tow" project. Intended to buy or build a small teardrop for cross country travel next summer, when my wife said she would come with me...but in motels not camping. Finishing the tow prep anyway...

I have 38,000 km on mine '10. Almost time for a tranny flush/fill and valve check. And my cursed intake STILL hasn't arrived from HPS. A truck broke down from Cowtown to Edmonton, then Edmonton had a huge thunder storm and the power was out in the UPS facility. Then it got to GP late and isn't getting delivered until Monday.

Which transmission cooler did you get? Let us know how the install goes. I've been doing quite a bit of towing with mine and probably need to install one of those myself.

Thanks! I'm just about the worst at finding places online that sell what I want/need.
