HIDs are in. 6000k high/low with 55w and 3000k in fogs with 55w. Headlight bulbs are shielded to reduce the glare to incoming traffic. Retrofit projectors are planned for the future.

might be finally installing my NST crank pulley tomorrow!!

recently switched from 93 octane to 91, on 3 hour cruise to drop off a MS6 2.3 turbo motor at a speed shop, saw 2-3mpg average drop. going back to 93, the velocity stack, cold plugs, and decat hated the decrease in ignition timing!!

Added keyless entry and test/dry-fit my window visors. just need to spend some time cleaning the door trim and a few hours getting them all put on. hopefully next week.
would be installing my center console arm-rest also, if the USPS hadn't mis-sorted the package and sent it to the wrong post office!

Installed my Progress RSB and Tanabe Medalion axle back. This car responded incredibly well to the RSB, I have installed them on numerous other cars and trucks and have never been as pleased as i am now...Money well spent

Replaced my broken A/C button... I popped it out of its sleeve/case and swapped the new one (after removing the new sleeve that was on it). I couldn't figure out how to take the heater/a/c controls out of the dash in the little time i was working on it (i was doing in slowly between deliveries)... so I got lucky with just popping it out of the sleeve. The sleeve is basically a protective covering that clips onto it, and then clips into the control panel. In case anyone is curious, the part that actually broke was a tiny little spring holder (1/8" wide, 1/16" thick). Once it broke, the spring shot out and couldn't produce any useful force on the button.

Also re-aligned a few trim pieces that weren't properly re-installed when the guy installed my Viper remote starter (yeah, that was over 2-1/2 years ago).

And finally, swapped out the upper glove cover and radio dash piece for the 2.5 gen (2012/2013) version. It's a darker color, while it doesn't "exactly" match the rest of the dash, it matches far better than the original light gray pieces.

While the upper part of the radio dash piece isn't as flush as I would like it, it's also far better than the metra dash piece.

Incidentally, the metra piece was peeling like crazy due to my temporarily attaching the receipts that were taped to the bags during deliveries, the tape pulled off the thin "paint" on top. The actual color of the plastic would be even worse match/contrast if you completely peeled it.

I took a "before" picture... but it got too dark by the time I finished (like I said, doing all of it while doing deliveries for work). So, if I remember, I pop a pic tomorrow.

Also unfortunate is the fact there's a fairly obvious gap around my kenwood unit in the dash. I was hoping to re-use the trim I already had, but it seems the OE dash opening is quite a bit bigger than the metra dash piece's opening. So, now I need to get that bit (soon as i figure out which one it is).

~~~~~ edit ~~~~~
Since no one posted after me so far... I'll just add the pics here.
Wow, the difference in color between those two pictures... isn't at much as it seems.
replaced my right side axis tail with another i bought from here a few weeks ago. now my turn signal works again! it appears that the lights are only held together with a bunch of screws. i wonder if opening it is less painful than the headlights.
Picked up Pentosin DOT4 as suggested by FF.net. Ordered Porterfield R4S front pads. Rotors are fine so running with them. Excited to install later this week.
Thanks for posting pics, I plan on doing the same thing once I go double din later in the year.
The last photo really shows the color difference between the two
Just got a new 2013 Sport about 2 weeks ago (had a 08 GD for about 3 years prior) and starting to get into mods. Today I added my own foot well illumination. 2 LED strips that I can select the colors of. Wired up so they come on when ever the dome light would come on, or via manual switched operation.
Will post some picks up soon.
I also did the 09 accord horn swap
Washed/IronX'd/spray wax'd my parent's '12 5MT.
Just driving out of the garage into the driveway, I was reminded how much better the steering/trans feel is on the GE than on my Fiesta.
Car is brand new, would take a HUGE loss.
That said, going to call local stealerships to see what I could do on a left over 2013.
Ouch...couldn't wait for a GK?
What I did to the Fit: Left San Diego for a mini-vacay to San Francisco. Drove 7 hours, averaged 39mpg and I was going 70-85 depending on the traffic. Before the trip, I got my windshield replaced due to a long crack and got Hankook Ventus v2 concept2 tires for my OZ Ruote rims.
Loved the Fit for the road trip! My back didn't hurt either (and I'm on Apexi' coils all the way down). Overall, a great experience with the Fit.
Lombard St. FTW!
